What a BLAST! We took Tyler and Ashton up to Sunrise Skii Restort yesterday. We couldn't have asked for a better day. Whene we arrived at the hotel their was NO snow what-so-ever but when we woke up we had a Winterwonderland! The boys did real well. It was so much fun! We can't wait to do it again!

October Break

We started our October Break by going to Wood Canyon Lake, AZ with the Austin Family. We had a great time even though our boys all came down with Strep & some other bug. I am just glad they are over it. I thought it was never going to end (7-10days)!

Also during our break, my Nata & Tata stopped to visit before they headed back to California. This was the first time for them to meet their first great granddaughter.

I couldn’t miss the opportunity for a 4 generation picture of us girls.

The D-Backs & The Cardinals Games

We took our kids to the D-Backs game on Wed (Giants) and Saturday (Padres). It was alot of fun to go watch them play this year. We can't wait for the next season to start again.

On Sunday Todd and I went to the "Fireside" (aka Cardinals Game) with Daniel & JoAnn. It we had a good time! We had so many complements on Miley! Amazingly with all the yelling and screaming she even fell asleep towards the end of the game!

Tyler's 7th Birthday

Tyler's birthday was last Saturday, September 12th. We surprised him by taking him to the Lego Store to let him pick out a set or two.
Then later that evening we took him to Amazing Jake's for dinner. He had a good time with the Liesner Family and with his Nana & Papa. His favorite things were climbing the rock wall and racing in the go-cart with Papa.
On Sunday, we had dinner over at Nana & Papa's house and had a birthday cake. This was the cake he chose for his birthday.

Tyler's Cell Phone

I can't believe we got a cell phone for a 7 year old who is in 1st grade. Todd and I have been discussing when do kids get a cell phone or not one at all. Neither one of us was really crazy at first about giving one to him so soon. The kids in our area are in at least 4th grade and he wants to go play/ hang out with them. Most of the kids are a few blocks away from our house and so we decided to get him a phone. This is the FireFly phone. You can use the FireFly's service or AT&T cell phone service. It's nice because we haven't told him what his cell number is so only those that we have given number to can only call him. The other feature is that we had to program his contacts with a computer and so he can't manually add new ones. This makes it so Tyler can only call certain people that are allowed in his list.

Our family has enjoyed going swiming at Nana & Papa's home in the evenings. It sure wears out the kids so they hit the sack a little sooner which we like!

Tyler's Teeth

Tyler had his front 4 teeth pulled out today! Reason: He had his other 4 adult teeth already coming in behind his baby teeth. Two teeth were barely loose and the other two had huge roots still. He hasn't cried at all and has been a real trooper.

While the Guys are Away

Since Todd is gone fishing with two of our boys and a friend of his, I was left here this weekend with just Hayden & Miley. So what did I do? I went to the mall. I rarely go to the mall because it's not a very fun place to drag 3 boys to. I ended getting Miley's ears pierced and Hayden picked out a stuff animal that makes a noise.

4th of July 2009

Todd had his tonsils pulled out 10 days ago so we weren't to sure what we were doing for the fourth but we ended up going to Heber at the last minute. We had a blast! We hung out with Todd's parents and his sister's Michelle & Charity with their families. We've gone up there a few times for the 4th of July and it's been great. Beats the heat for sure.

On our way up to Heber, we stopped in Rye to pick up a gas cap for our Razor. We ended up walking out not only with a gas cap but also with a new motorcyle for Tyler. We felt like we got such a great deal on it we couldn't pass up the opportunity. Here is Tyler going for ride on his new mortorcycle! What a lucky kid!

Blue Ridge June 17-21, 2009

Last weekend we went up to our favorite spot for the summer, Blue Ridge. We had a good time with family and friends.

We had to bribe Ashton $100 to ride on the motorcycle again. He was so scared to give it a go since it had been a while. After 30 minutes of riding on it he asked if he would get more money if he rode longer!!

This Saturday we went to the opening cermony for Red Mountain National Little Legue and also had pictures taken. Since we have both Tyler & Ashton on the same team, Todd's business (Offite Backup Solutions) decided to sponser the team. They will have thier first game on Tuesday. Go Iron Birds!

The Organization Bug

The "Organization Bug" kicked in at the end of January for me and Todd is about to to die from all the "Honey-To-Do" chores that he had to do. We finally got the kids rooms done! The decals on the walls came from http://www.fathead.com/ which I think are pretty cool. The furniture all came from IKEA. I can't remember how many trips we did to IKEA --Way to many! Thanks to all the family and friends who helped setup/ make the furniture.

Todd was going stir crazy so we decideed to take a short trip up north to Happy Jack, AZ (near Clint Wells). We went up on Friday afternoon and came back on Sunday. We just played with the boys at the park, rode bikes, and catched snow. It was a quick trip but it was nice to escape.

This weekend we got Tyler a new bike because his old one broke. When we picked up his new bike, Todd found this cool bike for Hayden. Check it out! It has no pedals! He loves it because he can glide around without hitting his feet.

Renaissance Festival

Sunrise Ski Resort

We took the boys this weekend to Sunrise. Hayden hung out eating snow while the boys went snowboarding. It was so crowded! The boys didn't get to spend as much time on the bunny hill as they wanted but it was a good trip for Ashton's 1st time and Tyler's 2nd time at Sunrise. They were both excellent riders and they want to go again.

What a great time we had this year. We celebrated Christmas 3 times! We spent Christmas Eve with Grandma Crimmins & Aunt Joy. Then on Christmas morning Nana, Papa, & Uncle Jeff came over to watch the boys open their gifts and have breakfast with us. Later that evening our family went over to Nana & Papa's home to open gifts with them and with Uncle Jeff & Matt. We also celebrated Todd's Birthday which is also on Christmas Day. Happy Birthday Todd!

Nov 28 to 30, 2008:
What Fun! We went up to the dunes the Weekend after Thanksgiving and it was soooo buzy! Nana & Papa came up with us that weekend too but we think we rather come up another time that is not so crazy.

Dec 12 to 14, 2008:
What a blast! This was one of the funnest family trips that we have done! We went up with 3 other families (Gonzalez, Wrights, & Austin Families) and we can't wait to go again!

Today Julie had her 1st ultrasound for baby #4. We were excited to find out that we are having a girl. The boys are going to be so happy to have a sister. They have been asking to have a sister "because we are tired of brothers"(Tyler & Ashton).

The kids had a blast the week of Halloween. They got to go to TWO Truck-or-Treat Parties, have a school party, & go Trick-Or-Treating on Halloween. We have so much candy -- It's ridiculous!

Tyler and Ashton are really excited about going to school. They love that they get to ride a bus. Tyler is in All Day Kindergarten at Red Mountain Ranch Elementary. Ashton is going to pre-school at EMECEC 3 half days a week. It so weird and nice to only have one kid for 3 hrs 3 times a week. The house is so quite during that time! I love it!

Wanna Get Away?

Come join us at the the Blue Ridge Reservoir!

We are having a blast going up to the North on the weekends to get out of the heat to do some camping.

The weather is wonderful! It does rain once a day but not much more than 15 to 20 minutes and then it dries up. All we ask is for you to provide for your own family - something to sleep in (sleeping bags blankets) and your own family’s food. You are welcome to bring other ‘Toys” up with you. We will have our RV up so there is a bathroom available for everyone to use. We also bring up a grill for everyone to use as well.

It is beautiful up at the Blue Ridge Reservoir and it has so many things to explore. It has many trails for hiking, mountain bikes, and motorcycles (quads and Rangers too). Our kids have been enjoying racing around in the forest on their motorcycle or quads. If you like canoeing or fishing the Reservoir is nearby too.

Our next trip planned is July 31, to August 3, 2008 (Thursday - Sunday. Let us know if you can come for any of those days.

We love to have you come join us! You wont regret it!
